Facts

1. The cars used by the academy are low powered 1.4 engined cars. All the cars are fitted with catalytic converters and standard exhaust systems thus making them no more noisy than any road car.

2. The cars use recycled remoulded tyres which are designed for minimal damage to the track surface.

3. The cars are powered by Greenenergy fuels, the most enviornmentally friendly fuel available at this time.

4. Refuelling of the cars will take place on a concrete pad, where the facilities to deal with any spillage are handled.

5. The academy are undertaking a tree and hedge row planting program where the outer edges of the track will have more trees and hedge rows planted to give the track a more country side feel rather than a motor sport facility.
